Testimonials
"Sean is a gifted presenter, possessed of both the humility to connect with any audience and the authority to effectively convey the importance of the critical environmental issues he covers.
I had the good luck to spend three days with Sean talking to students about global water issues in a dozen schools in St. Louis, USA. He is passionate about sharing his work, evidenced by the fact that the 12th time he gave his presentation in three days was as fresh as the first. Sean has a genuine interest in his audiences and is patient in answering even the most basic questions. Too, his persistence in reporting on issues that he cares about should be an inspiration to any student." -Peter Sawyer, Special Projects Coordinator, Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting
“Sean Gallagher presents an engaging mix of photography and tales of life as a photojournalist concerned about the environment. But, more importantly, he shows the entryway into the documentary world for young journalists, something they can grasp better from him because of his age and his wit. Gallagher offered stories, one-on-one discussions and was a crowd pleaser in a larger setting. Our only regret was not having him visit here for a week, rather than just a few days!” – Barb Hipsman Springer – Associate Professor/News – Kent State University
